Russia’s genocidal invasion of Ukrainians has destroyed countless lives and the horror unleashed on the innocent people of Ukraine can never be undone or made better. All we can do is fight, fight for the principles of “freedom” and of governance through justice instead of force. We in the West have been alluring Ukraine with these ideas since they gained national independence in 1991 and right now is the test of our resolve.

Over the past seven years I have found wood artists, CNC engineers, opticians, carpenters, family wood suppliers, lacquer experts, and whomever we needed in pursuit of creating something remarkable. These wearable works of art are all I have of value in the fight against the Russian invaders.

We donate $60 of each online purchase to support the Ukrainian army.

We participate in fundraising campaigns organized by Port Frankivsk, an NGO that my good friend Taras Korpaniuk works with in Ivano-Frankivsk (the city where we make all our products). They are part of a vast Ukrainian volunteer network working to get our Ukrainian heroes what they need.

We were inspired to join their efforts when Taras and Port Frankivsk raised $3,000 in 72 hours to get our dear friend and cherished artist, Ivan, a civilian vehicle at the front for him and his squad. They were using an old Soviet military transport that was slow and conspicuous (dangerous) for all their daily needs putting their lives at great risk.

Since then two more members of Hetmans have been mobilized and we have sent over $45,000 to Port Frankivsk to support specific battalions.

We are extremely grateful for the support thus far and wish we were raising money to regrow the Carpathian Mountains, support an orphanage, and ultimately open our own school in Ivano-Frankivsk!

But first, the occupiers gotta go.
